The Perry Bluejay basketball team won the McCreary Center 7th grade boys tournament last weekend.  Perry defeted ADM 41-34 in the opening game before defeating Waukee 35-24.  Perry defeated Roosevelt in the Championship  36-29.   Team members included Brandon Kenyon, Luke Rathje, Drew Levan, Rashon Ivory, Michael Meyer, Alex Garrido, Jacob Huffman, Reece Dunlap, Connor Nielsen, Mark Campos, and Tanner Duffy.  The Team is coached by Kendall Rathje and Jason Levan.

The Perry Bluejays finish their tournament season this Saturday with the 2013 Perry Booster Club 7th and 8th grade Tournament at the Perry High and Middle School Gyms.  PLay begins at 8 am.
