Perry senior basketball player Frankie Eklund has been selected to take part in the Iowa High School Coaches Basketball senior All-Star game next Saturday, April 6th.  “I was certainly surprised to find out that they had selected me, said Eklund, “It was a real honor and I am looking forward to being teammates with girls that I played against in the conference.”

Eklund does not know her entire team roster but knows conference rivals Brittany HOldsworth (Carroll) and Katie Ahrenholtz (Ballard) will be two of her teammates.  Eklund is coming off a season in which she averaged 10 points and 9 rebounds per game.
