An annual spring tradition in Perry takes place next week that helps set the tone for an annual summer celebration.
The Perry Fireworks Drive happens Thursday April 4th, starting bright and early here on Raccoon Valley Radio.
Chamber Executive Director Bob Wilson says as always there will be volunteers taking donations on Railroad Street along with phone in pledges and the “radio take over” here on AM 1310 KDLS.
In addition to the phone in and dropped off donations is the annual pie auction. Wilson says local celebrity bakers who are willing to make and donate a pie should contact the chamber as soon as possible.
