The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

Items on the agenda concern mostly with part of the property on the alley of Block 27.  The Council will hold a public meeting in regards of the review of a request to vacate a portion of the alleyway as a right-of-way.  Then the Council will have the first consideration of the ordinance of vacating that portion.  Next will be a waiver of the three required readings and approve the final adaption of the vacated property.  Finally, the Council will consider authorizing the property to Terry and Roxanne McCollom.

Other agenda items are considering a resolution to enter a sale and redevelopment agreement with Tri-County Lumber Mart to demolish and rebuild the property at 500 South Maple Street, a resolution to make a permanent four-way stop at the intersection of West Lincoln Way and Grimmell Road, designate the intersection of Chestnut Street and Harrison Street as a four-way stop.  Plus, there will be an Arbor Day Proclamation presented and an update from Mike Healy with the Jefferson Municipal Golf Course.

The meeting takes place at 5:30pm tonight at the City Hall Council Chambers in Jefferson.
