The Perry Public Library is hosting another Social Security Timing presentation early next month.
This event will teach attendees how to get the maximum lifetime benefits out of their social security account and is designed for married couples over the age of 55, widows, widowers and divorced persons.
Library Director Mary Murphy says she learned a lot at the most recent session they had last fall including the fact that if you refrain from withdrawing from your social security account the savings will continue to accrue.
The event takes place Thursday May 2nd at 6:30pm in the library’s community room and will be conducted by certified financial planner Stephen Connolly Sr.
