industrial tech expoFour industrial technology students will represent Greene County High School at Iowa’s Industrial Technology Exposition tomorrow.

The students competing are senior Kyle Youngblood and junior Cullin Flinn in woodworking and metalworking, junior Colton Day and sophomore Nathan Hoffman in metalworking.

High school industrial technology teacher Chuck Wenthold says they usually do very well recording a number of first, second and third place medals with some students earning scholarships.

He comments that some of the reasons why students like to participate in this activity is to see other students projects from around the state and see how they stack up to others in judging criteria.

The industrial tech expo is a Southeast Polk High School at Pleasant Hill with registration at 7am, judging from 10am-noon followed by a public viewing of all the projects from noon-1:30pm and awards are at 1:30pm.
