Mother’s Day is this Sunday and local flower and gift shops across the county are preparing arrangements for all those special mothers.

Stuart Flowers and Gift’s shop owner, Christy O’ Brien says they are very busy right now, and she expects that to continue throughout the month.

After finishing all the flower and plant arrangements for Mother’s Day, O’Brien says they will be busy preparing for graduations and Memorial Day.

O’Brien says that it is important to remember our mothers this weekend, as they are often “the one person who’s always there for you.”
