Teachers, paraprofessionals and administrators all play a vital role in the education of our children. They spend hours a day with students in and outside the classroom, with consistent teaching, at extra-curricular activities.

West Central Valley freshmen English teacher Cathy Hicks says you never know about the impact you make on the kids.  She had a former student come up to her and explain the impact she had on her life, telling her “you saved me when I was at my lowest.”

Today concludes National Teachers Week and it is a great time to think about the impact educators have on our lives and the lives of our children.  And maybe a moment to say thank you for all that they have done, sharing their knowledge.
