The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight in regular session.
The Council will consider several ordinances. There will be a third reading to provide a division of taxes levied on the taxable property to Hy-Vee’s addition to the Jefferson Urban Renewal Area and a third reading for change zoning from multi-family residential to central business at North Vine and West Adams streets. There will also be a first reading to vacate part of Adams Streets and alley in Block 6 for Hy-Vee following a public hearing to do so.
The Council will then consider several items for approval. The Council will consider approving a resolution for agreement of sale of part of Adams Street and alley in Block 6, paying $28,498.57 to Sandstone Management for updated work on Greene County Development Corporation Business Park #1, painting 32 electrical poles in a one block radius around the square, purchasing a dump truck and snow removal equipment and a resolution of support for the gaming convention and entertainment complex in Greene County.
The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
