A reminder to all Jefferson residents…

The City of Jefferson will again provide free tree trimming service next week.

City officials request that all tree limbs not be over ten inches in diameter and that the limbs are stacked neatly by the curbside and for safety reasons for the street crews, the cut ends need to be facing the street.  Whole trees will be collected.

This service will depend on weather conditions and availability of staff.  The city asks for citizen’s patience that if their brush isn’t picked up on their normal garage day to leave it at the curbside because it will be picked up at some point during next week.
