A Greene County small town celebration returns after several years.
Craig Marquardt says Paton Fun Day will make its official return for the first time in years tomorrow.
He states that the day’s event start off with a 5K run/walk by the community center at 8am with registration beginning at 7:30. There will also be breakfast in the city park put on by the First Presbyterian Church.
Marquardt notes some of the other morning events include a car show on Main Street, a bocce ball and sand volleyball tournaments plus a lunch will be served at 11am by the 4-H Club in the park.
There will be musical acts from 11:30-12:30 with the Town and Country Band performing in the park and the night time entertainment will be Brother Tucker from 7-11pm on Main Street with the beer garden at the Paton Fire Station.
Other activities include a petting zoo, cow pie bingo and dinner will be provided by the Greene County Cattlemen’s Association.
