Recently The Stuart Medical Clinic underwent some changes with the addition of a second Physician’s Assistant, albeit a student from Des Moines University, Jessica Risen; whom has made a great impact on the community so far.

A love a appreciation for the patients that she works with on a daily basis has give Risen a great sense of compassion for her current environment.

Risen is currently being observed by Physician’s Assistant, Wilda Orweiler, who has been in the Stuart Community providing great healthcare for many years.

Risen says she is so thankful for Orweiler, “she’s taught me so much in the short amount of time that I have been here, she just has such a compassion for the community.”

Orweiler says that Risen is learning day-by day-and is excited to see the amount of growth and learning taking place.

Risen knows that she will not be in Stuart long term, but has thoroughly enjoyed her time training from Orweiler and learning exactly what the community means to everyone that she sees.
