The first of four public information meetings to discuss the proposed Dallas County administration and law enforcement center takes place tonight in Adel.
All Dallas County residents are invited and encouraged to attend at least one of the meetings about the facility expansion that will be on the ballot August 6th.
Dallas County Board of Supervisors Chairman Mark Hanson says two studies have been done since 2006 that identify a critical need for additional office space in order to deliver services efficiently and effectively to a population that has more than doubled since 1997.
Tonight’s meeting takes place in the Adel DeSoto Minburn High School board room at 801 Nile Kinnick Drive South at 7pm.
Additional meetings take place July 9th at the Woodward Granger High School, July 16th in the Perry High School library and July 23rd at the Waukee school administration office.
