Jefferson City CouncilThe Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will consider several items for approval including a change order of $104,432 for the Washington Street overlay project and paying $304,155 for one of the final payments for the same project.  Other items for approval are sealcoating projects and purchasing iron fences for the alleyway entrances around the downtown square.

There are several resolutions for the Council’s consideration including setting a public hearing for the proposed development agreement with Hy-Vee, second reading for an ordinance to vacate part of Adams Street and alleyway for Hy-Vee’s parking lot and making the intersection of Locust and State streets a permanent four-way stop.

The Council will also hear an update from Mike Healy of the Jefferson Municipal Golf Course and appointing Kyle Orris to the Jefferson Library Board.

The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the city hall council chambers.
