The Perry Bluejays defeated Clarke 8-2 win in seven innings at Osceola last night.
Bluejays scored three runs in the second on a sacrifice fly by Will Whiton, an RBI single by Michael Lansing, and an error.
Blake Lansing racked up three RBIs on two hits for Bluejays. He singled in the first and fourth innings.
Cavan Finn kept contact to a minimum, striking out 10 Clarke of Osceola batters. Cavan allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks over seven innings.
Bluejays went up for good in the first, scoring two runs on a two-run single by Blake.
Bluejays posted one run in each of the third, fourth and sixth. In the third, Bluejays scored on an error, bringing home Ben Daniels.
