A silent auction is being held this year during the Adair County Fair to benefit the Adair County 4-H.

Bids will be accepted starting this evening at 6 pm and continue through Sunday at 1 pm.

A few of the big-ticket items include 15 tons of road rock, entertainment packages and a 15-gallon spot sprayer.

Angie Engles, office manager with the Adair County Extension Office says, “All proceeds from the auction go to the 4-H Booster Fund in Adair County and that helps fund our youth programs including camps and other projects and activities for kids.”

The auction will be set up at the 4-H and FFA center on the Adair County Fairgrounds. They currently have over 100 donors.

Engles also adds that ‘if you want to donate during the auction to let them know.’
