The Jefferson-Scranton School Board of Directors will meet tonight in regular session.

Items on the agenda include a reading and writing project network contract, appointments for treasurer, secretary and attorney, considering a resolution for interfund loan and depository for the 2013-14 school year and considering nutrition bids for dairy and bakery products.

The Board will consider approving the student, staff, bus driver and coaches handbooks and discuss legislative action priorities.

There will also be a district reading update, a whole grade sharing report, board committee reports and a second reading of a revised policy relating to student absences.

The meeting begins at 5:15pm at the South Grade Building Jefferson tonight and the public is invited to attend.
