The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight in regular session.

The Council will consider setting a public hearing to change zoning from residential to light industrial at 201 East Perry Street and a public hearing will be set to consider a resolution to vacate and sale the alleyway north of the intersection of McKinley and Locust streets.

The Council will also consider approving the Clark Street overlay project agreement with the Iowa Department of Transportation from Pinet Street to Grimmell with the City to pay $47,000 for its portion, an agreement with Geode Environmental for site monitoring of former Warin Oil site, three year contract agreement with J&M Displays for fireworks on the 4th of July and amending an agreement with MHF Engineering for water main improvements on Vine, Reed, South and Maple streets and Wilson Avenue.

Plus, there will be a review of the end of the year department financial information presented.

The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
