Emily Seidl from rural Bayard is this year’s new 2013 Guthrie County Fair Queen.

According to Seidl the competition was really strong this year, “I had an interview process and I ran against two other girls and the competition was very strong this year. I’m really excited that I get to serve as Guthrie County Fair Queen this year and I am really looking forward to representing Guthrie County at the Iowa State Fair for a week.”

The other girls in the running for 2013 Guthrie County Fair Queen where Amanda Svoboda of Bagley and Emma Wilson of Guthrie Center.

Seidl replaces 2012 fair queen Bridgette Allen of Panora.

Seidl would also like to personally invite everyone to join in the fun at this year’s Guthrie County Fair over Labor Day weekend.
