River Ruckus 2013 looks to be a great time of music and fun, however the main focus is safety.
Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright says his deputies will be assisting the security that has already been hired for the event, “The promoter has hired a security company and we will be there assisting them and dealing with any problems that they can’t handle.”
There will also be state patrol providing officers and Juvenile Alcohol Grant officers will be there to assist with any underage drinking, which will not be tolerated stated Arganbright.
All of the Fairgrounds where River Ruckus will be are designated for alcohol consumption however no one is allowed to bring it in or leave with alcohol.
Arganbright also adds, “We just want everyone to have a good time but we want everyone to be safe. That’s our most important thing we are there for is to keep people safe.”
