Just because the biggest event of the summer in Perry, population wise, is over doesn’t mean the fun is over.
Coming up next month is Fly Iowa August 23rd and 24th. It’s expected to draw at least a few thousand people to town. That week is also the second and final Friday Fest of the year.
Friday Fest is a family friendly event including live entertainment from Jason Walsmith and the Lamplighters, inflatables for the kids and a variety of vendors.
Area residents are encouraged to bring their own basket of snacks and beverages to enjoy while relaxing in Pattee Park.
