ADMThe ADM Tigers baseball team lands seven players on all-conference teams.

Seniors and four-year letter winners Dylan Nelson and Kyle Herrick were named to the all Raccoon River Conference first team as pitcher and infield positions respectively.

Nelson ended up with over 250 strikeouts for his career and led the conference with a career-high 101 punch outs this season.  Herrick racked up over 80 hits for his high school career and has a .346 lifetime batting average.

Juniors Logan Essy and Grant Goeden also made first team all-conference as catcher and infield respectively.

Essy had a breakout season with 37 RBI’s which led the conference and among the conference leaders in batting average with a .442 average.  Goeden led the conference in hits with 58 and had two home runs as the leadoff man for the Tigers this season.

First year player and senior Jordan Grove received a second team all-conference recognition.  The Tiger football running back utilized his speed to make it as an outfielder selection and led the team in stolen bases with 24.

Head Coach Jason Book talks about picking up a real talent that helped the team’s success this season.

“Contributing at the top of the lineup, stealing bases, making plays in the outfield.  Just a fabulous kid from a fabulous family.  His hard work ethic and his impeccable, unbreakable spirit and will help lead these guys the entire season.”

Rounding out the other all-conference honors for ADM was junior Jackson VerWoert and sophomore Chase Eddie on the honorable mention list.
