The Friends of the Adel Public Library are hoping Sweet Corn Festival goers will stop by and check out their annual book sale.

The public sale starts tomorrow at 9am and lasts until 4pm.  Though those who are friends of the library can check out today’s pre-sale event from 10am-5pm.  The friends pay an annual membership fee of $5 to support the library and residents are welcome to join at any time.

A wide variety of books are available for purchase and all proceeds and donations will go to support programs and activities.

The sale takes place in the community room and the library itself is closed during the Sweet Corn Festival.
