Greene County senior Jeremy Scheuermann is looking forward to his senior football season. The running back/linebacker told Raccoon Valley Radio he thinks the Rams have a number of good athletes who are also smart football players. “We have some guys who are quick and some guys with good skills. I think we have smart football players and we’ll have a successful season.” Scheuermann is a returning starter, who also was a 2012 state wrestling tournament place winner at 145 lbs. He’s put on weight and muscle since winter and it’s not likely he’ll wrestle at that low of a weight for the 2013-14 season.

The Rams will try to improve upon the 4-6 record of 2012. They’ll try to get off to a better start than last season when Greene County lost its first three games.
