A deputy was dispatched to the Peoples Trust and Savings Bank in Grand Junction for the report of finding a counterfeit $20 bill. The deputy took custody of the currency and spoke with the business that deposited their receipts earlier in the week.

A deputy was advised of a wallet that was found by Secondary Roads personnel in the ditch near Deals Orchard. The owner was identified and his wallet was returned.

A deputy was dispatched east of Jefferson on Highway 30 for the reported smell of anhydrous ammonia coming from a semi-tractor trailer traveling east from the four way stop.  The caller stated that he detected a strong odor of anhydrous coming from the trailer before it reached the Jefferson area. The semi-tractor trailer was never located at that time.

A deputy was dispatched to Dana to help resolve a reported domestic and civil dispute.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
