Several area offices will be closed in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

The Perry City Hall, public library and water works offices will all be closed Monday.

The McCreary Community Building will be open limited hours from 1-5pm, with the pool closing at 4:30pm.

Garbage and recycling routes that are normally picked up on Monday will be moved back to Tuesday and Tuesday’s route will be run Wednesday.  As a result there will be no yard waste pickup this week.  Services will resume next week for areas north of Willis Avenue.

The Perry City Council is also pushing its meeting back a day.  They will meet Tuesday night at 6pm in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building.
