The Greene County Chamber is still accepting crafters and other vendors for the annual Big Red Barn Home and Craft Sale on September 21st.

Chris Henning with the chamber, says there are 50 booths that have reserved space on the county fairgrounds in Jefferson.  She points out that years ago, the craft sale started at a Big Red Barn, but the owners have since passed away and now it’s at the county fairgrounds and has grown to include three separate buildings.

Executive Director Ken Paxton talks about homemade crafts and other items will be on display and will receive exposure to people outside of Greene County.

“This is a good chance to get them visible and available for sell to all the people around our county.  But Red Barn has become such a strong event we’re drawing people from a regional basis now they’re coming in from four or five counties around.  So it’s a good chance to put your products on display and give you a chance to sell some and make a little money for the Christmas season coming up.”
