After an administrative recount, as requested by auditor Gene Krumm, the results of the West Central Valley school board election remain unchanged.
Official results, as canvassed by the Dallas County Board of Supervisors, show Chad Waddell won the 2nd district election with 20 votes compared to runner-up Stephen Armburg’s 12.
In district 7, Neal Crawford was victorious with 49 votes compared to runner-up Kim Bigby’s 31.
A total of 140 write-in ballots were cast in the district.
