The last day of the Friends of the Jefferson Library book sale is tomorrow.
It will be bargain day in the basement of the library. President Barb Labate describes the details of bargain day.
“On bargain day, when you walk in, you are handed a brown grocery bag and you are able to walk around and fill that grocery bag right up to the brim with books. When you come to the desk to pay for your books, it’s just $4 for that full bag of books.”
One exception is if you find a book with a special price tag, those wouldn’t be counted in the $4 bag of books, but Labate adds, you can buy it for half price.
And a reminder that this is the Friends membership kickoff event for the year, so if you’re not a Friend of the Jefferson Library and would like to be, you can sign up at the book sale.
