The annual Red Barn Home and Craft Sale is tomorrow in Jefferson.

Chris Henning with the Greene County Chamber says they will have 60 vendors from across the state.  She describes some of the areas people are coming from to be in the home and craft sale.

“I’m looking forward to seeing all of these from West Des Moines, Marshalltown, Riverside (and) Sioux City.  All sorts of vendors from clear across the state.  It odd to be really exciting.”

Henning states that it started over 20 years ago in an actual Red Barn hosted by Ike and Enid Hurst on their farm near Cooper.  She comments that the event was at the Greene County Community Center two years ago and last year it was at the fairgrounds in Jefferson where it’ll be this year.

It will be in Clover Hall and the Commercial Building on the fairgrounds and there’s no admission charge.  It will be from 9am-4pm on Saturday.
