Time is running out to avoid an extra line this weekend as many are expected to attend the upcoming Perry Fine Arts concert.

Dixieland group Doreen’s Jazz New Orleans will perform in Perry Saturday evening.

The world class group has produced more than two dozen CDs, performed on five continents and for four U.S. presidents.

Duane Griffin with Perry Fine Arts says they’re looking forward to offering this unique opportunity to area residents.  He says most of the organization’s events are free to attend, though due to the fees charged by the artist, they do have to sell tickets this time.

Tickets for the show are $10 and can be purchased in advance at the Chamber of Commerce office, the First United Methodist Church or at the door.

The show takes place Saturday at 7pm in the Perry Performing Arts Center and all tickets are general admission.
