ADM’s boys and girls cross country runners were back in action last Thursday for their final regular season invitational of the season.

Josh Berger led the way for the boys’ team, placing 5th individually in the 5k with a time of 16:41.  Berger ended up just 25 seconds behind the meet’s winner, Cooper McDermott of Creston.  ADM had two other runners place in the top half of the meet individually, Trevor Danner and Luke Huen placed 67th and 69th respectively out of 150 total runners.

Overall, the boys finished 12th out of the 21 teams competing in the meet.

As for the girls’ team, it was once again Brianna Mueller collecting another top-10 finish to lead the Tigers.  Mueller placed 8th overall with a time of 16:16 in the 4k, finishing about a minute and half behind Rebekah Topham, the winner from Griswold High School. The girls’ finished 16th out of 21 teams.

Both ADM teams will compete in the Raccoon River Valley Conference Meet at Ballard High School this afternoon.  Varsity runners take off at 4 o’clock.
