volleyballADM’s volleyball team ended its regular season on a high note Tuesday night, finishing off conference play with a perfect 7-0 record.  The win over Carroll was also the Tigers’ 8th win in their last 10 matches.

Suffice it to say, the Tigers are rolling as they head into the district playoffs, and that is just how head coach Mary Beth Scott wants it.

“I do think we’re leading up to playing our best volleyball.  You know, it kind of took us awhile with some injuries that we had at the beginning of the year and we still have some players that aren’t 100% and we’ve had some sickness go through, but fortunately it didn’t hit us at the Bondurant game like it did last year.”

The team’s win over Bondurant last week ended up sealing their Raccoon River Conference championship.

With the regular season now in the books, next up on the slate for ADM is Grinnell in the first round of the district playoffs.  The Tigers recently knocked off Grinnell two games to love at the Knoxville Invitational this past weekend.  Monday’s postseason match will begin at 7pm in Adel.
