In an effort to reach out to each community, Carl Behne, chief executive officer of Greene County Medical Center will be taking his monthly employee “Coffee with Carl” discussions public.

Over the course of the next six months, Behne will be visiting each community to hear feedback from its citizen and to inform them of how county taxes benefit the medical center and what it means to be a Critical Access Hospital while also providing information on the building expansion plans.

Since December 2012, Behne has been holding “Coffee with Carl” events to his employees in a small group setting.  It allows the employees access to their CEO while at the same time, allows Benhe the opportunity to provide medical center updates.

The first, free public “Coffee with Carl” will be at the Rippey Public Library at 8am today.  Coffee and rolls will be served.
