Voter FraudCity elections take place across the state tomorrow, but those who plan to vote via absentee need to act quick.

All Dallas County absentee ballots need to either be postmarked today or dropped off at the auditor’s office in Adel before polls close tomorrow.

There are only a few contested races in the county.  Rebecca Hillmer, Jon McAvoy and Dale Swanson are all vying for two spots on the Adel City Council.

Voters in Dexter have seven candidates on the ballot to fill four open spots on the City Council, along with two public measures in regards to a capital improvements reserve fund for the Dexter round house and the a levy to support the Dexter Public Library.

Granger voters will decide on whether or not to approve a general obligation bond that would allow Polk County to borrow $81 million to improve the Polk County judicial system.

Perry voters will decide between Brandon Soll and John Andorf as the two candidates on the ballot for the open at-large council member seat.

There are six names on the Van Meter ballots to fill three city council positions and five on the Waukee ballot vying for three council spots.

Polls are open from 7am until 8pm tomorrow.
