The annual Greene County 4-H Awards night is this Sunday.

Extension Youth and Families Coordinator Sarah Jo Reynolds says the event focuses on recognizing 4-H’ers and all their hard work they’ve done throughout the year from static exhibits like photography to livestock like poultry and swine.

In order to be honored at awards night, 4-H’ers had to turn in their record books which Reynolds notes there were 60 kids who submitted a record book.

Plus, part of the evening will be honoring volunteers who have helped with 4-H groups and those adults that have served for five all the way up to 25 years.

The public is invited to the free event which will end with refreshments at the Greene County High School auditorium.  It will be on Sunday at 4:30pm.
