Area veterans are invited to celebrate their service to our county next week in Perry.
Perry High School is hosting their sixteenth annual Veterans Day Assembly Program Monday.
HyVee is offering a free breakfast from 6-10am for all veterans, active service members and National Guard personnel.
Then at 8am refreshments will be served at the Perry High School in the library, courtesy of Dallas County Hospital, followed by Veterans Day Presentations in the performing arts center.
The official celebration then starts at 10am in the auditorium. It will include songs, speeches, readings and more.
Capping off the event is a luncheon in the high school gym sponsored by the Bluejay Congress, high school social studies department and student activities department.
