Every runner on the ADM cross country team is now finished with their season.

Boys’ senior captain Josh Berger ran in the Iowa Association of Track Coach’s Senior All-Star meet this past Saturday in Ankeny to cap off the year.

Berger placed 21st out of 68 competing runners in the final meet of his cross country career.  Berger will run for the Tigers’ track team this spring.

His final 5k run came in at 17:40, good for a 5:41 mile pace.  Berger finished about a minute and a half behind winner Michael Melchert of Monticello.  Berger ran for the team representing the northwest portion of the state–his region came in second behind the northeast.

With the Tigers’ season officially in the books, head coach David Zwank encourages his runners to start training as soon as they can for next season.
