It was simply a shooting night to forget about it.   That’s what the Perry boys will look to do tonight when they travel to Grimes for a non conference game with Dallas Center Grimes at 7:30 at the Stable.  Perry enters the contest with a mark of 1-1 but most recently was pounded by Carlisle 73-42 in a night that saw the Jays go 0-18 from 3 point land.  Perry connected on 16-58 shots.  “We’re a better shooting team than that, commented Head Coach Ned Menke, “The shots will fall…it was just one of those nights where one thing led to another.”

It will be a tall order for Perry facing the 2-1 Mustangs.  Nick Drucker and Andrew Kramer are averaging 31 points per game between the two of them.  DCG defeated ADM and Pella Christian but lost to SE Polk 65-49 last Friday night.  You can listen to Bluejay basketball tonight beginning at 7:30 on AM 1310 KDLS and on line at www.raccoonvalleyradio.com
