Monday, December 9th

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office assisted in finding a juvenile female that had walked away from her home in the 1300 block of K Avenue. She was found and transported to the Greene County Medical Center Emergency Room for frostbite evaluation.

A deputy assisted with the removal of a vehicle that had slid into the ditch on 305th Street just east of Cooper.

A deputy is investigating the reported theft of prescription drugs from a residence in Farlin.

A deputy helped locate a runaway juvenile that became agitated at the Churdan School building and was later found at a residence in Churdan.

A deputy was advised of a reported theft of approximately 600 gallons of diesel fuel from bulk tank in the 700 block of W Avenue. The theft is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office at this time.

A deputy was on another call and not in position to locate a reported erratic and careless driver westbound from Boone County entering Greene County.

Tuesday, December 10th

A deputy assisted the Grand Junction EMS in transporting an adult male that had ingested multiples of prescribed medications that were taken without consent from another adult. Charges are pending upon further investigation.

A rural Greene County resident brought a stray dog to the Law Enforcement Center to be placed into the animal shelter. A Jefferson Police Officer assisted with the placement into the shelter.

A deputy and Greene County Emergency Medical Services personnel were dispatched to the 700 block of P Avenue for a female that had fallen and needed assistance.  She was transported to the Greene County Medical Center for further evaluation.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
