Funeral services for Howard Jay McCorkel, 88 of Adel, will be held at 10 A.M. Friday December 27, 2013 at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Stuart.  Burial with full military honors will be held at the Fairview Cemetery in rural Stuart.  Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the De Soto Calvary Baptist Church, with lunch to follow the service.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Howard McCorkel Memorial Fund, in care of Johnson Family Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be left at johnsonfamilyfuneralhome.com.
