A deputy was dispatched to Churdan for a reported unknown male subject knocking on doors and asking for help from several different residents in the 600 block of Church Street. The deputy did locate and subsequently arrest Louie Mack Brittain of Des Moines, Iowa, for outstanding warrants from Polk County.
A deputy investigated criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 300 block of Hager Street in Grand Junction. The rear window was broken out of the pickup truck earlier in the evening.
A deputy is investigating the second report of criminal mischief to a rear window of a vehicle in Grand Junction.
A deputy investigated criminal mischief to a car window at 902 Highway 30 East in Grand Junction.

A deputy assisted a stranded motorist on 220th Street west of Jefferson that was experiencing mechanical problems with his vehicle.
A deputy responded to the 2400 block of Quest Avenue to retrieve a stray dog. The deputy transported the dog to the animal shelter in Jefferson.
A deputy was dispatched to the report of an erratic and careless driver near Rueter’s Red Power in Grand Junction. The deputy was not able to locate the vehicle at that time.
Saturday, December 28th
A deputy was advised of criminal mischief to a car window in the 300 block of 19th Street in Grand Junction.
A deputy investigated criminal mischief to another vehicle at 707 Hager Street East in Grand Junction.
A deputy while on patrol in Grand Junction discovered a window of another vehicle that had been shot with a pellet or BB gun in the 300 block of West Hager Street.
A Greene County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle also had its rear window shot and shattered as it was parked in the 400 block of East Main.
A deputy was advised of criminal mischief to the windows of two more vehicles that were parked in the 700 block of South 16th Street.
A deputy was dispatched to the 700 block of East Hager Street in Grand Junction for the report of a car window and a house window shot with a BB gun.
A deputy responded to the 300 block of South 7th Street in Grand Junction for criminal mischief to a van window.
A deputy is investigating the theft of personal and household items from a residence in the 600 block of East Main Street in Grand Junction. The residence also sustained damage to the vinyl siding from some type of pellet or BB gun.
A deputy investigated another reported car window vandalized in the 600 block of East Hager Street in Grand Junction.
A deputy was advised of child custody civil issue involving a child transported to another state by the child’s relative.
A deputy helped resolve a verbal domestic issue in the 500 block of South 11th Street in Grand Junction.
A deputy investigated the report of a male subject from the 300 block of T Avenue that was at the Greene County Medical Center emergency room with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his hand. The male stated that he was in his shop and attempting to ready the firearm for target practice and was not aware that the hand gun was loaded.
Three Greene County Deputies’ investigated a two vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 30 and 222nd Street just east of the overpass near Grand Junction. Grand Junction Fire and Rescue and Greene County Emergency Medical Services personnel also responded to the scene. A 2012 Dodge Avenger driven by Kale Thomas Cummings of Grand Junction was attempting to turn onto Highway 30 from 222nd Street when he was struck by a westbound 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Patrick William Hall of Carroll, Iowa. Both Cummings and Hall were transported to the Greene County medical Center for further evaluation. Both vehicles were estimated to be a total loss. The accident is still under investigation at this time with charges pending.
A deputy investigated criminal mischief to a patio door window at a residence in the 800 block of North 11th Street in Grand Junction.
Sunday, December 29th
A deputy was dispatched to the 800 block of East Main Street in Grand Junction for a reported loud and erratically driven vehicle. The deputy was not able to locate the pickup truck at that time.
A deputy was advised of criminal mischief to a kitchen window of a residence in the 700 block of East Hager Street in Grand Junction.
A deputy investigated the report of the rear window of a pickup topper that had been shot with a BB gun in the 500 block of East Elizabeth Street in Grand Junction.
A deputy and the Greene County Emergency Medical Services personnel assisted a male subject in Scranton that had not taken his medication for several days and did not feel well. He was later transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.
A deputy was advised of criminal mischief to a pickup topper in the 100 block of Elizabeth Street in Grand Junction.
A deputy helped resolve a domestic altercation in the 500 block of South 11th Street in Grand Junction.
A deputy was called back to the residence in the 500 block of Elizabeth Street in Grand Junction and subsequently arrested Rebecca Lynn Chumbley of Grand Junction for criminal mischief and harassment.
A deputy assisted a stranded motorist on Highway 30 near G Avenue.
A deputy checked an unoccupied vehicle on 210th Street.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
