Christmas has passed, but the New Year’s Day holiday is tomorrow, and we again have information about closures of government offices and other services throughout the Guthrie County area.
The Guthrie County Courthouse and all departments within it will be closed tomorrow. The Courthouse will return to normal operations on Thursday, opening at 8am.
Stuart City Hall is closed today and tomorrow, while City Hall Offices in Guthrie Center and Panora are solely closed tomorrow.
Post Offices in Panora and Stuart will close at noon today and will both be closed all day tomorrow. The Guthrie Center Post Office will close at 12:30 today and will also be closed tomorrow.
For local residents needing to ship a package in the afternoon today, Post Offices in Yale and Linden will both be open starting at noon. Both offices will be closed tomorrow.
Guthrie Center’s Mary Barnett Library will be open for shortened hours this afternoon from 1 to 3pm. The library will be closed tomorrow.
The Stuart Public Library will close at 5pm today, while the Panora Public Library closes at 4 o’clock. Both libraries will be closed tomorrow.
And finally, the Guthrie County Extension Office is open for normal hours throughout the day today but it will be closed tomorrow.
