With the new year comes new appointments to many boards and commissions including the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce.

Executive Director Bob Wilson says the Chamber has always had a great working board and 2013 was no exception.

“It is a working board.  We have anywhere from eight to ten people on the board at a time.  These people are volunteers.  They put in their time, they go to two meetings a month, they come to all these things and the biggest thing is they put up with all my crazy ideas and most of the time they support them” says Wilson.

Wilson says all the various events and activities put on by the chamber would not be possible without those who volunteer their time to serve on the board.
