Friday, January 3rd
A deputy assisted the Department of Human Services with a residential check in the 2000 block of 100th Street.
A deputy was advised of a vehicle that was reported to be partially off the roadway on 240th Street near H Avenue. The deputy was unable to locate any vehicle upon his arrival.
A deputy was asked to check the report of a vehicle with its lights off, parked on the roadway at 190th Street and county road E53. The vehicle had left the area before the deputy’s arrival.
A deputy was not able to locate the report of a suspicious vehicle on X Avenue near 260th Street.
Saturday, January 4th
A deputy was advised of a lone cow grazing along the roadway on U Avenue just north of Dana. The owner had placed the cow back into the cattle lot before the deputy’s arrival.
A deputy is investigating a domestic altercation and the possible theft a motor vehicle from a residence in the 1400 block of U Avenue.
A deputy was dispatched to a reported occupied vehicle parked in a private driveway in the 1300 block of C Avenue. The deputy evaluated the driver and subsequently arrested Patrick Paul Schon of Glidden, Iowa, for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated, 3rd offense.
A deputy assisted in resolving a child custody dispute in the 1800 block of 115th Street.
Sunday, January 5th
A deputy assisted a member of the Jefferson Fire Department in checking the carbon monoxide level at a residence in the 1900 block of J Avenue. A resident at that location was reported to be feeling ill, but no dangerous levels of carbon monoxide were detected at that time.
A deputy was dispatched to reported downed electrical power line in the 100 block of G Avenue. The Churdan Fire Department and Midland Power Cooperative were also on scene.
A deputy assisted the Grand Junction Fire and Rescue and the Greene County Emergency Medical Services personnel in transporting a patient from the 2000 block of 100th Street to the Greene County Medical Center.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
