Everyone is invited to check out Perry’s new youth hangout tomorrow afternoon.
The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce will officially welcome Freedom for Youth to the community with a ribbon cutting tomorrow at 4:30pm.
Located at 1210 2nd Street, the youth center offers a place for students to hang out after school, get help with homework, enjoy a meal and play games with their peers.
The event was originally scheduled to take place last month but was cancelled due to bad weather so they’re hoping all community members will come check it out this week.
Following the ribbon cutting will be a free soup supper from 5-7pm.
