The Jefferson Public Library invites all area three through six year-old children to Ready Readers Story Time.

Children’s Librarian Terri Clark says the program will be from 10-11am on Wednesdays starting January 22nd through March 12th.  She states that the goal of the program is to get young kids interested in reading and to have fun making crafts and singing songs.

Clark points out that due to library rules, a parent or caregiver must remain in the building while their child is at the program.  She adds that there is a play area for infants and other children that aren’t quite to the age level for Ready Readers that parents can be at during the program.
