It has been almost eight months since the north loop of the Raccoon River Valley Trail opened and the association is looking forward to another big year.

“The use of the trail really has gone up quite a bit.  Living in Dallas Center, of course we’ve seen a lot of new traffic there with part of the new loop.  So it’s really exciting to seeing the numbers grown and we’re looking forward to having a full season this year to really understand how big that impact is” says  Raccoon River Valley Trail Association chairman Daniel Willrich.

Some of the things he’s looking forward to this year are another sold out Market to Market relay, the Tour the Raccoon ride and just building more and more awareness about the trail and all the communities it connects.
