Many of the Dallas County Conservation Board’s events this winter have been postponed or haven’t happened yet because of the weather but this Tuesday, everyone is invited to join them at the Kuehn Conservation Area.
The Owl Prowl hike starts around a bonfire Tuesday. Participants will sip hot chocolate as their introduced to the owls that are native to Dallas County. Naturalists will teach attendees what the birds signature calls are before the group heads out to the woodland trails to try their luck at calling the owls.
The event takes place from 6:30-8pm. It’s free and open to the public but pre-registration is required.
To reserve your spot call 465-3577.
