The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors meet this morning in the first of their bi-weekly sessions.
County Auditor Jerri Christman will first address the Board to ask for final action and approval of Guthrie County’s Business Property Tax Credit applications.
Kris Arrasmith of the County Assessor’s Office says 493 applications out of 550 eligible parcels were ultimately submitted prior to the January 15 deadline a few weeks ago. Arrasmith says the Assessor’s Office has recommended that the Supervisors then approve 478 applications out of those 493 submitted.
Next, Christman will discuss with the Board a request from a local entity for the suspension of property taxes.
Finally, the Board will have its final budget review discussion. Today’s meeting should finalize the Guthrie County’s budget for the upcoming 2014-15 fiscal year.
Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Guthrie County Courthouse. There is currently nothing on the agenda for Thursday’s meeting.
